Hi, I'm Andrew Brackenbury, a counsellor/psychotherapist offering face-to-face sessions for clients in Stamford, Lincolnshire, and online or telephone sessions for clients elsewhere. I am fully qualified, with a Level 7 Post-graduate Certificate in Person Centred and Experiential Counselling & Psychotherapy and a Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
My approach to counselling offers a safe place to pause, to explore thoughts and feelings, and take steps towards a calmer, happier, more fulfilled way of being you. I believe everyone has the inner strength to move forward in a positive way, often all that's needed is the right environment to find it, and that's what my counselling can provide.
I'm here to listen to you fully, to really hear how things are for you. You'll be able to look more closely at your life, to hear your own voice clearly and consider new perspectives. As you feel more understood, tension is released and a sense of hope may emerge.
Understanding your past can soothe old wounds and quieten self-criticism. As self-esteem improves, new options suddenly seem possible. No matter what your story or situation is, I'll remain calm, and when needed I'll share ideas and techniques to help you to manage your anxiety, emotions and worries.
