Type of counselling
Introduction
I have many years experience as a Person-Centered and Experiential Psychotherapist working in a hospice as a grief counselor. I have also counselled in an education setting (6th form college), University students and NHS setting. I am offering counselling to psychotherapy students up to MSc level, post graduates and scholars. Through empathy and compassion I offer a nurturing, confidential, accepting, comfortable and mind stimulating environment for clients to explore any issue they would like to bring including trauma or bereavement, existential anxiety or depression and work related stress. During the COVID-19 period, I trained and provided on line counselling such as telephone, texting, zoom as well as face to face meetings. I have got full clinical UKCP membership and I am accredited with UKCP.
Further Information
I also offer ECO- counselling: instead sitting in the room we have a session in the nature such as park, woodland, fields or a garden. I do welcome neurodiverse people (dyslexia, ADHD, HS etc.) My practice is trauma informed practice.
