Introduction
Hello and welcome. My name is Williamina and I am a qualified counsellor and I work with individuals, couples and relationships. I provide a warm and compassionate environment to help you explore any concerns that you feel are affecting the way you experience life or others. I am also a qualified online counsellor and Fusion® Certified Life Coach and Mindfulness Trainer.

You may be reading this because you want to talk to someone who will listen to you and understand you. You may not know exactly what is bothering you, where to go, who to talk to or what to do that can help. You may feel that you are overwhelmed, confused, perhaps too fragile or scared to share your confidences with a stranger. Rest assured - I am here to help you as a compassionate counsellor helping people make sense of their life and to help them move forward.

I know it is a daunting experience to take the step to find a counsellor. It is important that you feel comfortable with your counsellor and I offer a free 15-minute chat so that you can have an idea if I am the right counsellor for you. If you have never had counselling before, it is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions.

People come to therapy for many reasons: feeling stuck, depressed, sad, suffering from anxiety, having panic attacks, addictions, bereavement, work, stress, relationships, perfectionism, procrastination, painful emotional experiences – and many more.

Whatever your reason may be, which is unique and personal to you, counselling can help you get a different perspective on things by providing you a safe and confidential space in which you can explore any difficult challenges or feelings you may be experiencing. Talking about whatever concerns you and feeling listened to is part of the healing process.

I am a person-centred counsellor and I draw on a broad range of approaches tailored to your own needs.

Introduction
Feeling overwhelmed by life with ADHD? If you have ADHD, or suspect you have, therapy can empower you to take back control of your life.

Do you always feel like you are surrounded by chaos and that no matter what you do, you just can’t seem to get things right? Are you constantly beating yourself up about things that others seem to find so easy? Do you feel easily overwhelmed, have anxiety and sensory issues?

Counselling can be flexible, with sessions weekly or fortnightly. Remote sessions can be done online or over the phone from the comfort of your own home and reminders can be sent so that you don’t miss a session.

Therapy can help you transform your life with ADHD by:
• Helping you to understand that having ADHD, or suspected ADHD, does not mean that you are broken. Recognising this can help improve your self-esteem.
• Helping you to regulate yourself and your emotions so that you can feel less overwhelmed and anxious with everyday life.
• Teaching you tools and techniques to help manage your day-to-day life, including organisation, time management and challenging negative thinking.

I started my private practice because I could see that many people were struggling with feelings of low self-esteem and confidence stemming from anxiety and depression. As I moved through my career, I started to notice that a lot of my clients either had self-diagnosed or professionally diagnosed ADHD. Which left them feeling overwhelmed with the world, not good enough and feeling hopeless for the future.

I have personal and professional experience dealing with the impact of ADHD and I understand how it can creep into every aspect of a person’s life. But it’s possible to live the life that you want and work with your ADHD with the right support in place.

In my counselling career I have supported many clients with ADHD in transforming their lives and I would love to help you too.

I’m a fully qualified and registered counsellor with the BACP. In addition to my counselling qualifications I have completed additional counselling training in counselling people with ADHD and my Master’s in Psychology has also included a focus on ADHD and Autism.

I have participated in extra training including CBT for adult ADHD and Counselling ADHD and I keep myself updated on the latest thinking around ADHD.

So please get in touch via email or text to book a session. I look forward to hearing from you.

Introduction
I am a creative therapeutic counsellor and have a good understanding of working with young adults and the challenges of student life, experiences of working with self-harm, suicidal thoughts, exam stress and anxiety, family life, friends/peers, bullying, autism and ADHD.

Working as an affirmative therapist within the LBGTQ+ community gives the client a safe space to explore their thoughts and feelings around their self-identity.

Within my years of experience in working in the domestic abuse sector and supporting adults at different stages of their journey, understanding that domestic abuse can affect anyone regardless of their gender and also supporting adults of childhood trauma with domestic abuse and sexual violence.

One of my passions is to work creatively and this is one of the ways we can work together to express our emotions when we struggle to find the words, this can be beneficial to younger clients as they are able to express their feelings through the art, some examples include working with sand, or paint and exploring pictures/photos.

Introduction
I understand therapy can feel really daunting and scary at times, the good news is that you are looking here to make a start . We are not designed to figure out life and all its complexities alone. We can see and experience a lot in our lives and that can have a significant impact on us. It can be exhausting but it doesn't have to be like that. You deserve happiness and emotional freedom and I can help you to achieve that. I am relational and supportive in my style and create a bespoke therapy suited for the individual/couple using several evidence-based interventions to help improve your psychological and emotional well-being.
The significance of being heard and valued by respecting your story will help you gain insight into yourself. Explore how your life's context has shaped how this has influenced your perception of yourself and how you relate to the world and others. It is important to balance support alongside the challenge to allow space for growth and change.
I see you as a person and I hear the journey you have travelled. I invite you to connect to the part of you that knows you deserve the right to happiness and emotional freedom. In our lives, we see and experience many things and some of them can be deeply impactful and traumatic. Asking for support is your first step in taking back control of your life.

Introduction
Men have been raised to be independent, silent and strong – big boys don’t cry, do they? But where do we go when things get too much at home or work – down the pub, to our local dealer, to the bookies, to our man cave, or do we just let anger out on those we love?

I use a ‘man-friendly’ practical approach to counselling men, backed up by having undertaken specialist training to provide online counselling. We talk together to understand what is happening and identify the optimum practical actions to help you move on.

We don’t get bogged down by the past. We focus on moving forward to find the solution that fits and works for you.

I see you online, so you can talk to me wherever you choose to – you don’t have to be seen walking to my office!

II offer a free 30mins conversation to help you explain what is going on and for you to experience my approach to counselling.

Introduction
I provide a private and confidential counselling service to adults in central Norwich, Norfolk, or online within the UK.

Counselling is not about getting advice; instead, it provides the space to explore difficult events or impactful moments in your life, whether in the past, present, or in preparation for the future.

I will help you explore your experiences without judgement to achieve a better understanding of the difficulties that you are facing.

I have experience working with neurodiverse clients, including those with autism and other conditions that may present sensory challenges. I would adjust the environment as much as possible to make your session accessible. I enjoy working creatively, and we would be able to collaborate on how we may approach areas that you find difficult to verbalise. I am happy to discuss this with you and answer any questions you may have over email: CPCounselling@protonmail.com or in an initial appointment. Please don’t hesitate to contact me.

I have supported individuals with various challenges, including:

Anger management
Anxiety and Stress
Bereavement, Loss and Loneliness
