As a registered therapist, I am trained to work with many issues including:
What I Can Help With
Anxiety – Many of us deal with overwhelming feelings of worry and stress that make it difficult to live the life we want. I’ll help you understand anxiety and develop strategies to reduce its impact on your life.
Depression – Persistent sadness and the sense of emptiness that comes with feeling low can be isolating. Together we can uncover the roots of your feelings, and find a path forward towards emotional well-being.
Trauma – Traumatic experiences can leave lasting scars. I offer a safe space to process difficult emotions, develop coping skills, and help you reclaim a sense of control.
Relationship Challenges – Conflicts with loved ones can be difficult. I’ll help you improve communication, understand patterns, and build stronger, healthier connections.
GSRD – Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity – I provide affirming support for LGBTQ+ individuals, those exploring ethical non-monogamy, and alternative relationship styles. My approach is inclusive and non-judgmental.
How I Work
I establish an open and secure environment for you to express yourself freely and candidly, while nurturing your vulnerability and motivating you to push your boundaries for personal development. My approach is rooted in active listening, deep understanding, and the systematic use of evidence-based techniques and practical tools to support your growth.
I have a wide set of techniques and theoretical knowledge so that we can find out what works best for you. Everyone is different and therapy should be adaptable to your individual needs and preferences.
Reaching out for help can be daunting, but it’s a powerful act of self-care. Each person’s story is unique, and I am here to listen with empathy and without any preconceived notions. You don’t have to navigate your struggles alone.
Together, we can work towards understanding your emotions, identifying patterns and developing strategies to make life easier.
About Me
I have worked in private practice as well as several community-based settings that provide specialised support for various communities of type or location. Outside of therapy, I have several years of experience in the charity sector, where I ran a mental health organisation for young people. Throughout my therapeutic career, I have worked with individuals from across the world who have faced a broad range of issues.
My qualifications and training cover a wide variety of humanistic therapeutic approaches in addition to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Brief Solution Focused Therapy and coaching skills.
I have lived experience of being queer and disabled. I love pop culture, music, reading, and American reality TV.
