Introduction
I am a professionally qualified Integrative and Creative Counsellor and Supervisor, which means I am trained in a number of approaches. This gives me a greater range of tools to work with you in the way you need.
Prior to qualifying as a Counsellor, I worked in the world of education including special schools, and more recently with the Specialist School Nursing Team in Suffolk. I spent over 30 years working closely with parents and children on everything from personal care to healthy relationships.
I have been supporting parents and families through their difficulties for over 20 years – covering everything from bereavement, bullying, depression, divorce and stress, to building independence and confidence in young people. I’ve worked with many children and young people who have additional needs including autism. I have also supported individuals with their self-esteem and personal development using a variety of counselling approaches, including creative interventions.
