I live just outside Glasgow and over the past two (Covid) years I have been offering telephone and online sessions in a flexible way, as and when required, including evenings and weekends.
When accessing counselling myself in the past, I have found that what's most important for me is to have a therapist who really listens to me, not somebody who will diagnose or try fit me into a box. That is what I offer - to really listen to you, without judgement, so you can feel comfortable to talk freely, enabling you to delve deep, explore your issues and concerns, and come to a new understanding.
I have worked with people experiencing chronic illness, disability and deafness, bereavement and loss (including hearing loss), anxiety, stress, loneliness, isolation and addiction. I am particularly interested in trauma and adverse childhood experiences and the long term effects of these into adulthood.
